Current Sector Initiatives:

Work Based Learning Consortium collaboration with The Career Foundation, catered for workers in the manufacturing sector

In collaboration with Work Based Learning Consortium, The Career Foundation is pleased to be leading a partnership with Skills for Change, VPI and YWCA to help mid-career workers transition into new roles as Mold Maintenance Technicians.

Second Career introduced an initiative that applies to people who meet specific criteria in the manufacturing sector

As of April 1st, 2020, Second Career introduced the Second Career Manufacturing Sector Initiative. If you were laid off from a manufacturing sector job after January 1st, 2019 and meet all other Second Career criteria above, it may be easier for you to qualify for funding and return to school.
