About the Canada-Ontario Job Grant
The Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG) provides an opportunity for employers to invest in their workforce! The COJG program also:
- Provides up to $10,000 in government support per employee for training costs;
- Requires employers to contribute 1/3 of the total costs; there is additional flexibility for small businesses to provide an in-kind contribution towards their share of costs;
- Requires training to be delivered by an eligible third party trainer.
Employer Eligibility & Application
The Canada-Ontario Job Grant can provide financial support to individual employers who wish to pay for the training of their employees, and is currently available to all businesses with a plan to deliver short-term training to existing and new employees.
